Key obstacles to wider AI adoption include concerns over AI errors in critical tasks, data security issues, and uncertainty about where to start.
Cody Neville, founder and CEO of NevTech AI, emphasized the importance of practical experience in AI implementation. “Most of the people pitching AI to business owners have never had to make payroll,” he said. “We built our automation inside our own companies first, then inside the businesses we serve, so when we sit down with an owner we are talking about workflows we have actually run, not a demo.” NevTech’s approach to automation prioritizes mapping a company’s existing workflows rather than beginning with specific software products. The systems they develop are designed to include employee involvement, especially in areas where human oversight is crucial, such as tasks that could impact customers or patients.
NevTech AI extends its services across various industries, including food and beverage, commercial equipment services, healthcare, and municipal operations. Their automation solutions cover tasks like inbound call handling, quoting, follow-up routing, and reporting. One notable service is their AI receptionist, which operates 24/7 to handle inquiries that would otherwise be missed if they went to voicemail. This service is particularly beneficial to local practices and trade businesses.
The AI Roadmap sessions are open to Indiana businesses of all sizes, and participants are welcome to bring proposals from other AI consultants or vendors for review during the session. This initiative underscores NevTech AI’s commitment to guiding businesses through the complexities of AI adoption, ensuring that technological advancements align with practical, real-world applications.
