This compact device integrates seamlessly with Rhombus’s cloud-driven security platform, offering remote door management, lockdown capabilities, and connectivity with various smart sensors.
The DC10 is designed to address the needs of environments like offices, retail outlets, restaurants, gyms, and isolated entrances where a larger multi-door control system might not be feasible. Its sleek design includes features such as a wet/dry relay, a dry auxiliary relay, and four inputs for monitoring door positions and handling request-to-exit functions. The controller’s IK08-rated design allows it to be installed in tight spaces, such as above drop ceilings, providing flexible installation options.
Power and connectivity are streamlined with the DC10’s support for 90 W PoE++ and PoE passthrough, allowing it to power a nearby camera through a single cable. The controller also offers built-in compatibility with Rhombus environmental, intrusion, and motion sensors, as well as panic buttons, with a line-of-sight range reaching up to 100 meters.
Equipped with both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, the DC10 maintains robust cloud access, enabling operators to manage access remotely without the need for an on-site server. This innovation simplifies installation and reduces infrastructure demands, making it an ideal choice for smaller or distributed locations looking to implement cloud-based access control solutions.
