Shenzhen Topway Unveils Advanced Racing Drone Batteries, Boosting Economic Prospects.

Shenzhen Topway New Energy is making strides in the realm of racing drone battery technology, showcasing innovations that emphasize enhanced power delivery, reduced weight, and increased durability for both competitive and industrial drone uses. The company has introduced a new high-discharge lithium cell formulation aimed at decreasing internal resistance and facilitating better ion transport. As claimed by Topway, their 1300mAh 6S battery pack is capable of delivering continuous discharge currents over 130A, ensuring a stable power supply during challenging flight scenarios while keeping voltage drop to a minimum.

The firm is utilizing a manufacturing process for low-resistance electrodes that enhances conductivity and minimizes heat production. This advancement is designed to boost flight efficiency, prolong battery lifespan, and ensure steady performance during extended high-load tasks such as drone racing and aerial filming. To keep the weight down, the batteries incorporate ultra-thin aluminum-laminated packaging along with a reinforced structural design that bolsters impact resistance without adding unnecessary mass. According to the company, this approach improves the power-to-weight ratio and enhances durability for outdoor applications.

An integral battery management system within these packs offers active cell balancing and safeguards against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and various other electrical issues. This system not only supports rapid charging but also contributes to the extension of the battery’s life. Topway asserts that their battery packs can retain more than 80% of their initial capacity after in excess of 300 charge cycles and are engineered to function in temperatures reaching up to 60°C. A typical 14.8V 1300mAh lithium polymer battery is reported to weigh under 175 grams while supporting burst discharge currents surpassing 200A for brief periods.

The company further assures that its products meet multiple international standards, such as UL, CE, RoHS, IEC62133, and IEC62619, with their manufacturing processes certified under ISO 9001:2015. These credentials underline Topway’s commitment to quality and reliability in its advanced drone battery solutions.
